What is the attire?

Garden party & cocktail attire. Something you’d be pleased to be photographed in and befits a wedding celebration. While it doesn’t get too hot in Narrowsburg, it is August so no need to go black-tie. Please no jeans or t-shirts.

Are kids allowed?

We love your children, but this is an adults-only event.* We hope you understand and can still join us on our special day.

*Except for nursing mothers & babes in arms.

How to get to Narrowsburg?

• By car.

  • If you travel by car, understand that the Holland Tunnel is a hellscape between the hours of 5-7PM. Recommend leaving earlier so as to be able to enjoy the Friday pool party without pulling your hair out on the way up.

  • We recommend carpooling if you’re driving.

• By Public Transportation.

  • You can take the Port Jervis line of NJ Transit from Hoboken and Uber from the station. PATH provides regular service from Manhattan to Hoboken Terminal.

  • We will have a shuttle on Friday and will send out those details as the arrangements are made.

  • If you arrive at a time other than that pickup, you can get to the motel via Uber, but I recommend carpooling and booking the car a day before given the limited number of rideshare drivers.

• By Plane.

  • The best airport to fly into is Newark and you can rent a car there to drive to the Motel (~2hrs). Scranton Airport is technically closer, but has limited availability. Note that a connecting flight to Scranton operated by “American Airlines Ground” is a bus, not a flight.

  • Please keep in mind that ReadID is set to take effect May 7. If you are flying please make sure you have the appropriate identification so you don’t get in a bind!

  • If you are not interested in renting a car, there is a car service in Sullivan County that might be able to accommodate you, if you’re interested in this, please reach out as it would be good to be picked up as a group.

Do I get a plus one?

If you were invited as a single guest but have a plus one, please reach out and we can discuss if our location can accommodate your plus one.

If I’m staying off the property, how can I get home if I’ve had something to drink?

We have arranged a car service to take people from the Blue Fox to the Darby and nearby Airbnbs, so don’t worry if you’re off property!
